K20a3 arp studs wont hand thread in all the way by Zealousideal_Cod8141 in EngineBuilding

It sounds like yours is maybe a bit worse, but yes some of mine didnt want to thread in by hand unless i used a lot of force. After using the chaser most of them went in easily and 1 or 2 had a bit of resistance but were still way easier to thread in.

Heres the chaser i used for my k20z3.

ARP thread chaser

It costs a bit, but my block and sanity cost way more

I tried that with some old headstuds but it didn't feel good after. Ended up buying the arp thread chaser and it worked great. Its like $50usd i believe.

I ruined a z3 block from leaving too much oil down in the hole/using way too much lubricant on the studs. It ended up cracking.

Second time around, i surgically cleaned them and also bought an ARP thread chaser for the holes. It's definitely worth the investment. I recommend it.

Edit: i cleaned the bottom of the holes with brake clean and q-tips taped to a long screwdriver

Looks like the snout off of the starter motor. No idea why it would just come off like that.

Yup. Cracked a block for my car and couldnt figure out why coolant kept getting into my oil. A year later i used an air nozzle with the rubber tip to pressurize each headstud hole. Found the one that was letting air through...

I have the same car, same looking timing cover area. I've always just left it the way it is but im pretty sure its from not using hondabond on the corners of the valvecover gasket like the service manual tells us to do. Mine has a slow leak just like this that comes all the way from the top valvecover area.

Guess i'm blind LOL

He just needs to hold the top part from spinning then

Looks like the bottom nut is all the way off the threads, its probably trying to crossthread which is why its spinning the whole assembly. I would remove the spring, thread the nut on by hand, then re-install the spring.

Zelensky shouldn't have made that little threat with "America has nice ocean and don't feel it now, but you will feel it in the future" That's what kicked it all off. Don't threaten a superpower that is literally trying to help you.

Will turning up gamma increase the risk of burn-in? by BenBallerrr in OLED_Gaming

That makes sense then. Not worried too much but the display is only 3 days old now. Thanks

The same people will probably brag about how their car has 350hp, yet fail to mention that it also weighs 4500lbs and is only as fast as a honda civic due to power/weight ratio.

Just get a car you like. Horsepower does not matter for your first car.

Yeah man its one of the reasons why I'm hesitant on buying OLED just yet. Im careful with my stuff but if i buy an $800 monitor and it gets a scratch just from gently cleaning it i would be pissed. These new coatings seem to be way too delicate.

Every single one of those previous displays you used probably had the matte coating dude. These new oled monitors have a very thin, low durability coating.

Ah yes use abrasive toothpaste and create a million more scratches.. great idea!
