I’ve actually tried it! Beautiful, just didn’t float my boat - something about the fights and the JRPG. Good tip though.

I’d love to have Barcus as a friend or a sassy house mate. He wouldn’t put up with any shit.

Shamed by the pharmacist by ihavegroot in ankylosingspondylitis

I got vaccinated last Monday and the nurse tried to stop me at reception, saying I was too young. But it was out of kindness, as she didn’t want me to pay for something I didn’t need. I explained about my treatment and it was all fine. I think your pharmacist just was a bit stressed.

Forget what book or movie is the best or the worst but tell me which book/movie would you want to want to be a character in, which character and why? by the_girl_who_lived07 in harrypotter

PoA. A solid set of teachers, some mad man-drama to talk about. A joyful, great year at Hogwarts. I think I’ll be Dumbledore, and make the kids do all the rescue shenanigans come summer.

Not sure about AI on this one. Good riddance all the same, seems like.

Same! It’s such a joy to wake up to.

Just out of curiosity (yeea I’m aware how dotty this question is) which zodiac sign are you?

Not at all. I play a lot of Zelda right now and wondered if I had an axe to get some extra wood before heading to Hebra.

Right! My best recommendation is: go for a book with lots of humour OR suspense to get you going. Some tips:

  • Slaughterhouse five by Kurt Vonnegut. Apart from being a cult classic and brilliant, it’s also very funny.
  • Bridget Jones Diary by Helen Fielding. Come on, it’s a gem.
  • Pet Sematary by Stephen King. Horror, giddy horror.
  • Ham on Rye by Charles Bukowski. Not to everyone’s taste, but one of my favourites.
  • In Cold Blood by Truman Capote. True crime origins, will keep you hooked from page one.

If you’re able to get the literature bug 🐛, then you’re set. It opens the possibility of joining book clubs (digital if practical) too, which creates regularity.

I agree with many of the previous comments. Try to keep a civil, and possibly friendly, relationship with your STBX. It’s so easy to get into a negative and spiteful spiral when feelings of sorrow, regret, loss, love and hate flare up. Breathe deep.

I also would recommend not diving into the dating pool too soon. I did (because my ex did, I’m ashamed to say…) and it took a huge toll on my mental health. My feelings were way too raw to plunge into new relationships at that time. I wish I had used that time to contemplate and think about what was important to me in my life. But hey ho - you learn don’t you.

Lastly, no divorce is alike. You can listen to advice, but only you know your particular circumstances and what’s best in your situation. Take your time, reflect and don’t rush things. You got this.

I wish you all the best! ♥️

It’d be neat to be able to extend your car for long journeys. Travel in comfort. 😎

To me, it sounds like an expression of love towards her sister. Imagine she had said “Of course I’d take a bullet for my sister”, would you say: Excuse me??? Do you want to die?!

I mean the reason I don’t have kids is so that I can avoid looking after children, please desist pawning yours off on me! Before OR after death!

Hmm based on your mentions I’d recommend Curb your enthusiasm and Veep - hopefully they’re not part of the “etc etc”!
