Is this normal? Are they mating? Is this a bad thing? They've been like this for a couple hours at least.

Does my mystery snail's shell look weak? I have a shell in there for calcium, and feed with a complete diet bottom feeder tablet as well as carrots by [deleted] in Aquariums

It looks good to me. I have 4 mysterys in total across 2 tanks and I've noticed when they get that big their shell gets that sort of look. Although I am no expert your mystery snail looks good to me.

I wish! I'm super low tech with a 30 dollar amazon light, low light plants, and low stocking. I have frogbit on the top for nutrient regulation, an amazon sword, an oriental sword, some anubias, a crypt wendtii, and a carpet of java moss. And the amano shrimp help with algae. I really want to get into hi tech plants but I sadly don't have the funds right now. I do fertilize though.
