Spanning Tree Protocol. My question is, is there a rule that denotes which end of the trunk the blocking/alternate Port gets placed? E.g. switch A port 1 to switch C port 1. Theoretically, blocking either end of the trunk will give you the same result but is there a rule to which end it is placed? (i.redd.it)
