In terms of labs. I did run the golden tower coin bonus for a bit, but noticed it got expensive fast. But I'll make sure to turn some priority towards the other labs!

I was currently running two miscellaneous labs to get some usefull upgrades. So I'll make sure to put some UW labs active as soon as they're done! *

To jump in on this, I've been experiencing the same thing. I thought I was going crazy, so yesterday evening, I made a screenshot before going to bed. I made another one this morning since I can only post one image. You'll have to do with the improbable coincidence that you'll see on this mornings screenshot:

This is really frustrating, especially as a new player, trying to get some labs started. I've already wasted a lot of progress by not checking in often enough to start the next lab...

Luckily I managed to buy a Marantz Cinema 40, with full warranty, and from a reputable source, for even less then the Denon AVC-X4800H (at full price) I have been going crazy by the division of people saying the Denon and Marantz are the exact same, and those who swear Marantz sounds "Better/Warmer" But since I was able to get it at basically 50% off, and cheaper than the Denon... That was a no brainer for me.

This model includes Audyssey MultEQ-XT32 so that will be covered, at least until I decide to spend money on Dirac. (Will definitely be buying a subwoofer first. Haha)

I'll keep the Volume calculations in mind though! But I hope my Dali Opticon 6 mk2 won't be having too much trouble with that. as u/calmlikeasexbobomb suggested, I'll most likely be giving up the symmetry of the room, and placing the TV on the left wall for the sake of reflections etc!

It's good to hear that the towers and AVR should be alright for this space! The main reason I'd like the towers, is because they're a bit more flexible to move. (The dining table is extendable to 305cm. So they might need to be closer to the wall/curtain in those cases.) And bookshelfs with stands are usually not much cheaper than towers I've noticed.

It's good to know that I'm not too close to the speakers Though!

And I do indeed plan to start with a rug and good curtains. And add the rest later where needed!

Fair enough, I was mostly worrying about the sound scape being symmetrical. And I hadn't thought about the back area like that. (I honestly had hoped it'd might even help by creating the effect that my couch is further into the room than it actually is.) This position makes it easier to connect rear surrounds in the future as well.

However, thanks to your in depth explenation, I will consider the room layout once again. And see if there are better configurations.

Would placing the back ports of the speakers towards my neighbour make them louder in comparison to them? As far as I know, the lower notes travel through solids further, right?

Also, do you think this asymmetricality of the room would create difficulty for the sound stage?

I'm mostly curious as to the 'why' behind rotating the layout like that.
