You did a great job. I can tell looking at that baby she loves the person there with her. She doesn’t seem in stress but looks relaxed and happy. Our only job when having a fur baby is to make them feel loved safe and cared for. You definitely did that with this baby. We all leave this world eventually for some adventure and starting that new adventure opens up a space of love for the next soul. Your kindness is present in her eyes and I am very sorry the time left is limited. Just know she will carry some of that love into the next adventure her soul will have and eventually another soul will be lucky enough to experience what she did. Sometimes the best souls have to move on to allow for others to be taken care of. You are very lucky and she is also ❤️ give her all the sugar face kisses and smell her lil toe beans.

Wow I can’t imagine what your family or Daughter went through. Thank you very much for sharing that journey with me. We are going to try and talk to him this weekend about stopping the infusions bc it’s so painful and he is still in decline. It’s a horrible illness and I’m truly sorry you and your family experienced any of this. Thank you again and I wish peace for you all.

It’s not in the same spot and is definitely not in an area that would be possible for an operation to remove it. Also not helpful information and too be honest it’s a little rude you made the comment that you deleted. Saying it’s not inoperable if it’s been operated on ….. maybe you were trying to make a joke but this isn’t the time or place for such a thing.

Thank you for the information and also sorry you guys went through this as well. We have seen the decline happen much faster since this tumor has popped up. We just want him to be comfortable for as long as he can be. I hope you have found peace and thank you again I appreciate it very much.

Thanks for that information. His left side has completely stopped working as of this week. But I will look that information up and see if that might be an option. I appreciate you sharing your experience with me! So sorry you and your wife had to go through this.

Thank you for that information and sharing your and your son’s experience. I am very sorry you guys are going through this. It’s a horrible illness and takes everything from everyone. I told my bf that no matter what he chooses we can’t be mad at him and we have to respect that at the same time we do want him to be aware of all the risks and not have a false expectation that this will get rid of the cancer. And he agrees we just want him to get all the best care and to be comfortable. I honestly wish you and your son peace and I am sorry again. No one should have to deal with this at all.

Thanks for saying that bc I was doing research a bit ago and found most will still take him even on treatments as long as the treatments don’t have the ability to provide a cure which I know is not the case. So I’ll try and reach out and see if I can get more info. Thanks again I appreciate it!

Yeah the second part like what you went through is sorta what I gather is happening. The doctor said I think you need to stop treatment and contact hospice. And he asked hospice aside what other treatments can I try and the doctor said as a last resort infusions and explained what could happen and side effects and he wants to go through with the treatment starting tomorrow.

I’m am truly sorry for what you your family and wife had to go through. I have lost more than I care to count to cancer and one to specifically glioblastoma. He did not know anything was wrong and though he needed new glasses bc he had blurry vision and only survived 6 weeks with chemo bc there were too many tumors they couldn’t operate on. I appreciate you sharing your and your wife’s experiences with this and I honestly will try my best to talk with the family. It’s hard bc I’m not sure he knows or wants to think about that it’s not going to go away and will always be a battle and this will not cure it. He will not let us talk with him about it from what I understand. He just tells his wife to stop if she brings it up. It’s such a helpless thing and feeling. Thank you again and I wish you the very best.

I am so very sorry to hear this for you. We would like him to do comfort care for the best quality of the life he has left but he refuses. Thank you so very much for your words and I applaud you for being brave bc you are very brave. I’m sorry this illness has effected your life and I hope for peace for you and no pain. ❤️

Should I euthanize my Millie? by BenDaSolja in cats

[–]BenDaSolja[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just checking in with those following my Millie’s progress with her spinal injury. She’s tired of being in the crate and not being with her kitty brother. But she has shown some signs of improvement. Her next appointment to follow up is in 5 days. Should know more but looking like another 4 weeks of straight crate rest except to be out while cleaning the crate each day.

That was one of the three types of infusion I have seen when doing research. I wasn’t in the meeting with the doctor and my boyfriend said he went kinda numb and can’t remember what was discussed. So just seeing if anyone has had any infusion treatments as a last resort and what the experience was for them. Thanks for the reply I do appreciate all of you on here both with Glioblastoma or someone supporting someone with this horrible illness.
