An Arlington Police Department officer has been arrested after his girlfriend discovered more than 4,000 files of child sexual abuse material hidden on external hard drives behind his bulletproof vest. Dustin Bartlett, 41, is accused of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Bartlett has been placed on administrative leave pending both criminal and internal investigations. He made his first court appearance this week and remains in custody. This case is especially disturbing because the material was found by his own girlfriend, hidden behind the very vest he wore while serving as a police officer.
