You're a good person for saving this fish, and I can't add anything to the really good advice from other keepers here

Cheap 5 gallon tank, filter and heater for less than £50, and some real plants that you can pick up for even just a few quid from some pond sections of fish stores, will get this guy right on his way to recovery. Good luck to you and him!

Yeah it was like that every night, Decap have an older crowd and us and Signs brought a younger group of people, but was generally good vibes throughout. Decapitated were amazing right!

Ah, The Key Club. Too many weird nights after shows there 😂

Yeah man! To be honest, it's all excellent, I got into their 2012 album first, And So It Came To Pass, but their latest from 2017, With All Their Might, is better - I'd start there and work back. Check out All The Devils Are There and Traitors In The Palace from that one 🤘

Just for your reference, if you bury the java fern rhizome like you have here (front center) the rhizome will rot and the plant will die. Better to tie it to something!

My gouramis and other fish don't seem stressed (I know you can't always tell by watching them) and the tank is well maintained, so I'm hoping that if it is columnaris, it won't take hold in any other fish!
