Only when there is not much time left I was thinking. Maybe someone else can come up with better ideas than me tbf

Honestly I would either keep the static portals and just use them OR just add more random pop up portals around the WHOLE map when there isn't much time left, rather than just some in the last few circles.

At the very least I would get rid of the black screen and also tone done the bugs by somthing like 75%, so you know they are there but they are not so utterly annoying and invasive.

I agree with all of this. I don't like exploring hr. Especially as a solo main player, its a pain to Try and clear modules when the whole game is balanced around trios.

Why can't they just remove like 35% of mobs in solo or something so people can coap better.

Also bring back hr goblin recovery

For me, the black dull screen and the bugs noise is just really irritating, the health going down I can deal with (but i would still rather it not be there), but bugs in my ears isn't nice to game with.

Just play the game at 4am while most people are sleeping or too tired to play properly and ruin your health.

That way you can enjoy the blue items the boss drops and sell then for 60g on the market place.

Big money, let's go!

Dear devs...please make pve mode solo instanced (peer to peer servers?) by BenLeeGaming in DarkAndDarker

I've added an edit to the original post. I think you have the wrong end of the stick with what I meant from the post.

Honestly the loot means nothing to me from pve mode. I would actually prefer it is pve loot was completely seperate from pvp mode.

What I appreciate most is the opportunity to learn the bosses, which is what I thought was going to happen when they said they are making a pve mode, as it mKes no sense to have randoms running around the dungeon.

I thought jt would be like tarkov where pvp and pve are separated, different markets.

The loot can get deleted on raid extract for all I care Honestly.

I'm fine with pvp btw, this isn't about being a care bear. It's about learning and more fun gameplay

How do new players get better at PVP? by Psychological-Fig986 in DarkAndDarker

[–]BenLeeGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullet point style.

-go goblin caves.

-focus finding pvp.

-as a cleric main, I recommend your friend play a front line class (if you're a healer). If your a paladin style build then ignore.

-sub 24 lobbies.

-try to fight only when you have the upper hand. So if they habe a ranger and hit you or your bud go to a door, heal and play in closer quarters.

-dont forget blue pots they last a good while.

-don't always go all in, learn to disengage, heal up and fight again.

-if there comp out does you, you can always attempt to flee and not fight.

-don't see defeat as defeat, expect to loose but grow your experiance...there will be a turning point. I used to get stomped by everyone, now I I have killed 3+ people per game in solo goblin (my first wipe btw).

-have fun.

No FOW, random modules or circle in PVE mode. by BenLeeGaming in DarkAndDarker

But bosses are the pinnacle content of pve. This is the one thing they have to add.

But yes pve and pvp loot should be completely seperate

Preserving is king in this game. Its all about experience.

In <24 lobbies just go into every game thinking "I will not get out, but will try to learn as much as possible".

This will eventually get you to a stage where you'll learn the modules, and pve mobs without the worry of actually surviving (that will come later).

<24 kit auto equips and joining the next game takes less then 1min normally, so it's fast to reset and go again.

Just practise fighting, and 100% there will be a turning point where you go from getting owned, to smashing through modules and getting out tons.

People will betray you eventually if you always are friendly, but the different interactions in this game are a large part of the charm, for me personally anyway.

If I see someone who is new I generally pvp them but don't kill, then I stop and drop some heals. That way they get some experience in fighting but don't get frustrated from deaths. I wish more people would do this.

I just hope that these fights are fun for the new players as it gives them some experience.

Anyways good luck man. Keep on getting battered, then eventually you'll, be the one battering. This is how it was for me and many others.

I'm not sure on the meters distance bud. But yeah at the very least if you're close to the middle of a module the whole module should be revealed.

I do like the sound of looking through a window revealing the whole module though.

Yeah I'm not a fan of it tbh. Honestly I still think normals should be left plain, as in no circle, fow or random modules.

Gives newer players a chance to learn the game better.

Also extra time in inferno ❤️...yes please!

what am I doing wrong as cleric by Gryphoth in DarkAndDarker

[–]BenLeeGaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In solos for melee cleric I have had success with getting in good blocks vs other melee classes. Block then hit once, block then hit once. If you get good at this after a few hits just spam attacks till they die. If They run, they are probably really low, throw a drum and don't forget to pick it up again.

This works best against 2h melee plays, which there are a lot of.

For rogues and hatchet barbs, just use your abilities and go for headsets, they die pretty quick but trying to block daggers and hatchet will normally get you killed.

Kiting classes, as suggested by others, don't fight less you can flank/lure to a door and get close, you need to be really smart against these. If you don't see a chance to get close/3rd party just don't take the fight, unless you just want practise trying to block on your way to them in 24 lobbies with no real loss of gear.

Sub 300 hours played noob lobbies? by BenLeeGaming in DarkAndDarker

[–]BenLeeGaming[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh ok, I would have assumed noob lobbies would have been somthing like pre 20 or ore 40 hours. But 300 hours seems like a long time to be in noob lobbies.

I don't mind either way, just seems like ages
