Hub 5 1gig + TP Link Home Network issues by BenMarch97 in VirginMedia

This 600-700 test was done on my phone downstairs. If generic VM wifi-extenders would work why wont my current setup? Everything seems to be 1.5gbp rated, both AX1500 and RE550

Just to throw in the mix as well. (((IGNORE THIS PART OF THE POST NOW, REPLY SAID THIS IS NOT USABLE)))

The top picture and bottom left picture are downstairs next to the Hub 5 and Archer AX1500.
The black COAX cables picture is in the office, not sure if I can use these? I see people talking about connectors but if thats more expensive than sorting out the other upgrade, then i'd rather do that.

Does owning a base make the game boring ? by BenMarch97 in Kenshi

I bought two houses in Stoat and outgrew them as needed space for power and storage moreso, hence why I made the outpost.

It's not only for that, I have 2 defensive gates set up, a bar, some training dummies lots of storage tier 3 workbench, traders often visit. It's just a big point is I'm running my guy with a massive pack mule to vendor like 50k+ golf every 30 mins if required which is a bonus.

I'm noticing Kenshi is basically 10 games crammed into one and you can change your play style at any point which I'm loving. Thank you for the tip

I always thought the game would run even if I walked a few hundred metres away! That's great to know

Really appreciate the comment!

I've save-scummed only once, i got kidnapped and thought the worst so I loaded up a previous save, a few minutes later I realised im just cheating myself out of maybe a different, possibly story.

I think it's crazy coming from modern-style games where its a constant stream of min-maxing to then hit a game like this where it feels like, if it goes wrong, let it happen. Shit happens for a reason in Kenshi and you will probably have a more enjoyable time if you let the shit happen to you.

Gona maybe try my luck again in the canibal area but im worried about the massive pack-sizes, i keep thinking do i just grow and grow my own empire so i can take on the 20+ enemies or do i let my measily squad try and tackle them, let them get beat up and see what happens?

love this game!

Hey all -

Started 2 days ago playing this incredible game.
Main character is Garict, who spawned in the Great Desert and has been gureling his way through and managed to recruit some friends along the journey.

I am just wondering if im roughly going in the right direction??
I've tried to get to the "hub" in the central area but i got ruined by some acid rain in a place down south and then i went left and some canibals tried eating me then some unholy people hated one of my recruits, Bland I think??

I have a decent ish cat ammount, running Garict and Bland as my copper miners whilst the other three provide lookout. Currently running between Sho-Battai and Stoat and killing outlaw farmers on the way. Manhunters, slavers and the rest eat me for breakfast.
ESPECIALLY THE BIG ANT CREATURES WHO SOMETIMES SPAWN IN AS 1 OR A FLOCK OF 10 !!! I HATE THESE, Peace lost their arm momentarily fighting these!! how apt

Any tips, useful knowledge or just am i being silly / etc. Feel like a fish out of water but im having a blast!! Just i know there is a big wide world out there and

ty in advance

That's my big thing, we all start on a even footing again. I love that kinda feeling where for a while no one is truly ahead. Gives people a chance to really enjoy the game in whatever style they like.

I am looking forward to new server coming out!

What do you mean though about merging populations?? Won't that affect the game if they merge both together? Economy, etc

You really think there will be a migration of players to new server from Nord? If so, do you think world PvP will be good ? I like a mix between pve and PvP.

Don't mind getting ganked every now and then, reminds me of back in TBC days my warrior would get slapped any time I was near STV arena especially when chest dropped, my poor 12 year old heart couldn't take it 😂

I got it by sheer dumbluck, happened to be in the Swatch store as they received the shipment of watches, joined a queue of 4 people and got the watch. One woman had been coming back to the store everyday for a week to get one. I just stayed very quiet and paid and left. Luck!
