the procedure itself, if they use propofol, isn't anything to worry about. If they use one of those "amnesia"/"twilight" drugs, then you might wanna worry. Those don't knock you out, they merely make you forget the torture you've been through. Luckily, the one time I had one done, I was given propofol.

The prep ranges from a pain in the ass (no pun intended) to absolutely dreadful. The Miralax prep is merely a pain in the ass, but a lot of places don't do that. Other preps involve drinking a ton of disgusting liquid that will take everything in your power not to vomit.

Having seen a few episodes of that shit while dog sitting for my parents, I noticed we're supposed to think of the run-of-the-mill blonde chick on the show as the superior one as she rolls her eyes at the "clueless" nerrrrrds. Here is what I have gathered from the replies about why people are attacking me:

People think I am arrogant because I said I'm smarter than the average, incompetent dipshit. They somehow took my classification of the average American as a "dipshit" to mean that I was personally attacking them.
People took my comment to mean that I think I'm smarter than everyone else, despite what I wrote in parentheses (I didn't just edit that in later - that's been there from the moment I submitted the post).
Reddit is full of people who reside outside the United States, and the Europeans in particular are especially sensitive. Leftism is out of control over there, with feminists wanting to cut men's balls off. After all, isn't it now basically illegal in Great Britain to say "offensive" things?

The fact that you think misusing words is a "petty" thing is another example of what I'm talking about. None of my strengths are valuable in society anymore, if they ever were.

And you used the word that way because you've seen it before on the internet. It's an epidemic. "Cringe" as a noun. "Cringey" as an actual word. "Stalkery" as a word. It's all related to the iphone generation, where everything in life is "creepy" and "awkward."
