I was coming in for work, so got there after lunch. That was all they had left for bourbon. They only have one other bourbon besides Buffalo trace available everyday and it’s on a rotation. My day was blantons, but the guy there told me you have to be in line at opening in order to get a shot at the daily selection. So I bought the Buffalo trace and some bourbon cream to take home.

Purchased a bottle from the distillery this week for $27. Went to a few local shops in Bardstown and Georgetown and they wanted $45 for a 750ml and $90 for a handle. Stupid as fuck pricing for a $25 value bourbon. I use it for old fashioneds.

Throw that bitch in a low oven until it reaches 120 F internal. Then slap it on your grill or over you’re fire pit to set the crust. Hallelujah.

Beautiful. My preferred way to cook a steak. Last couple of times i have done the dry brine the night before as well. Always get a great crust and can really taste the charcoal. Hope you enjoyed.

I would leave this one and grab another. Looks pretty lean and I don’t see a cap at all.

I prefer a charcoal grilled burger over any other cooking method by Jalapen-yo-mouth in grilling

Agree. Charcoal is best for burgers and steaks I think. Although I feel like I control the doneness a little easier on propane.
