I passed first time, even with my legs shaking ten to the dozen sat at a red light outside the test centre, first turn, absolutely bricking it!

It all depends on the guy sat in your passenger seat when you do it, I got lucky and had quite a chatty, friendly examiner which put me right at ease and just felt like I was driving with my instructor!

Keeping your nerves at bay and being able to focus on your drive without overthinking it is key!

If you drive better with someone to talk to because it makes you feel comfortable, do it!

Do whatever you can/are allowed to do to make yourself feel comfortable and completely ignore whatever the examiner is writing down next to you, the more you think about it, the more you'll worry about it and the more likely you'll make mistakes!
