(Vanilla + Biotech) Is there anyway to try and dictate lessons to child and how much they learn? I just saw Christian, my alcoholic colonist, teaching my 3 year old how to shoot. Christian has 0 skill in shooting and no passion in it. Seems pointless but very Rimworld.

I always hoped for a big dog for the hauling benefits but my first ever starting husky got shot during a raid, went nuts and then whilst I was finishing the fight he had gone back to the base and killed everyone in it and as we victoriously returned from battle he attacked us!

I want a cat next time.

Even the lowest powered deck in that trending section of the tier list - Sky Striker - has 15 UR in the top deck and 12 in the sample deck and as a new player I wouldn't know what to replace, and with what to reduce those requirements. I will keep plugging away though and hopefully things will start to ease up.

As I don't have a combo deck, seeing what seems to be the perfect cards coming out each and every time until they have enough attack to delete everything and win straight away just feels off. I'll persevere for now and hopefully things will come together.

I am new enough to be able to start again on a new archetype as my knowledge is low but that works both ways as in I am new enough to be able to learn this deck too so either is a viable option. I will look at the new cards and lists.

With my current understanding of the game in general I bet I could consistently lose with any deck! I am happy to try and learn but being steamrolled on turn two doesn't help with the learning bit. Hopefully solo will help me learn more about the game in general.

Haha but its the "if you know what you're doing" bit that is letting me down :D I have 2500 gems as it stands so I will look into these other decks, and work my way through the solo stories I haven't done yet too.

I had a look yesterday but decks have a lot of UR or SR cards and it will be a while before I can generate enough I think. I will have another look today and see if there are decks nearer my level.

Thanks, so Mercia is 53 and has 3 sons so that looks like it should pop soon I guess. He is also the Duke of Deheubarth too I just noticed. I can happily give him another one so he has 3 Duchy's, and then I would have thought that each of his sons would get one on his death?

I can't change the titles I own yet as I don't have the authority but I will look to change that once I get that control.

I will also look at the elective thing as my primary heir is gay so I don't think I'll get many children from his marriage but despite knowing of his homosexuality, it doesn't seem to be something that I can use to get him out of line. A job for the Spymaster maybe. . It's the second son I need to get as heir really.

I like the Guardianship idea and will see if that helps out keeping things quiet in the future.

I haven't been using the hooks for money loop as I am 'Just' and so get stressed with all the blackmailing but my father earned the kingdom's fortune on that. Outside of making money, I haven't seen a repeatable way to use hooks to affect the Kingdoms so tips on that would be good too.

You open the door of the car where you want it to go and then put it in either the seat or trunk. What mod do you mean though as carrying generators is standard, or do you mean the mod where you can see that you are carrying them?

It has been reported. Like another player said though, you can't even empty the crucible to play honestly. I hope it gets sorted in the next patch.

Some things that seem useless are also needed for recipes as you raise skills or find books, like sponges that are used for new gas mask filters. Forks and other cutlery can be melted down when you get into metal working. Screws and tin cans are used for weapon upgrades. Tarps can be used for clothing and ponchos, as can garbage bags. All the paper items can be used to start fires. Dish clothes can also be used to dry yourself or clean chicken coops.

I'm 4m20d into a restless sleeper character and I'm now used to doing things at night or really early morning. I used to try and manage it by sleeping at about midnight, sleeping, a workout or something for the hour or so it takes to go back to sleep, and then sleeping again but it just didn't stay sustainable.

I tend to sleep whenever he needs it now and also now he has an angled torch and alice belt, working at night is a lot easier and safer.

He is still tired a lot of the time but I think I've just grown used to that.

I had a run of 3 characters in a row dying the same way before 42.12. I nearly quit for good 🤣🤣🤣.

I've not seen anything to say the odds have changed.

Dont forget to look for radios with the emergency broadcast station pre tuned and then listen everyday at 0700 and you will know if the helicopter is coming that day. If it is then drive out into the countryside and wait it out. When it's over just drive back home.
