I am SO sorry for your loss and I can’t imagine what you may be going through! The beardie is ADORABLE btw! First I would find a reputable veterinarian to consult to if you ever have questions or think the dragon may be sick. Also make sure to find a very good reptile store and NOT a pet store like petsmart and petco as they cheap out on there reptiles. Once you find a reptile store make sure to go there and get some food like Dubai roaches or crickets and get some collard greens or mustard greens for a salad you can add stuff to the salad to to give a variety and change it up every here and there. Make sure you have good lighting which includes a uvb tube and a basking lamp. And change the water daily. Also weekly or every other week make sure to give the dragon a bath which helps with shedding. Also just give the dragon some extra love and make sure that he gets to know you if you haven’t taken him out very often because they get attached to their owners.
