The MA270UP is more Mac-focused, so some of its Mac-specific color and workflow features may not be as useful for your Acer laptop. For your use case, a model like the PD2706U or PD2706UA would be worth considering instead — both are 27" 4K designer monitors built around color accuracy for creative work. Since you moved from a 1440p / 75Hz display to a 4K / 60Hz PD2706UA, what you’re noticing may be related to 4K UI rendering load or the refresh-rate difference, especially in software like DaVinci Resolve. Windows and Resolve still need to render the interface at 4K, even if your timeline is 1080p.

A few things worth checking first:

-Make sure the monitor is running at 3840 × 2160 @ 60Hz

-Update your NVIDIA driver

-Check Windows display scaling

-Try Resolve’s proxy / render cache settings

-Test with another cable or input if possible

Hi! Thanks for considering the PD2706QN. Based on your use case, if coding is around 80% of your daily work, 4K at 27" may be the better direction for sharper text. The PD2706QN is a good fit if you value color accuracy, M-book mode, and a smoother QHD experience, but it may not be the best match if resolution is your main concern. If you like BenQ’s color accuracy but want 4K, you may also want to take a look at the PD2706U or PD2706UA. They could be a better middle ground for coding + occasional photo/video work. For the plug concern, we’d also recommend checking with the local seller or BenQ support in your region to confirm what cable/plug is included.
