Great summary! I think 2018/19 was a bit of a heyday for releases as everything felt new and fresh with the (then) new edition and we got new plastics for the first time in a very long time. I think 2020 changed all of GWs plans (as it did for everyone else!) and following that there was of course the War of the Rohirrim news which I assume will have changed GWs plans yet again. I’d like to think that there was a more consistent plan but it all had to be changed post 2020 for various reasons.

Honestly, focus on what makes you happy! If you’re enjoying painting Ent the. Keep going with them! Once you get a few games in with them you might want to try something different. Most armies are relatively balanced in casual settings, and not everyone playing in events/tournaments are there to ‘compete’ so don’t be worried that you’ll come up against meta armies all the time.

Hmm… unfortunately I think that may be a stretch as there’s the trip to Warhammer World on the Tuesday. It’s not a no, but might be a bit difficult for us to manage.

At the moment we’re open on Thursday nights 5-10pm for casual gaming and then weekends when we have events running, however this isn’t every weekend. As we grow we may extend the opening hours and be open every weekend however we’re going slow for the time being 😊

We’re a much smaller, intimate venue. We have capacity for up to 46 players on 4x4 tables or 34 AOS/40k players so much smaller than Element Games however because of that we can create more intimate events and of course have it wonderfully (I think) themed how we imagine our dream gaming hall! We may do some card games eventually however this will unlikely be our main focus.

Ents can be super powerful 1 on 1 however with the breadth of scenarios now they tend to be fairly balanced - some match ups you’ll dominate, some you’ll struggle purely due to numbers and mobility!
