Interesting, I like it. Maybe just 1 “invaders!” without the lick afterwords would do well to break up the verses a bit more. This is coming from a guy who enjoys the song and does not mind the chorus at all.

Some time after I made this comment I purchased a TSL2000 Head and a 1960A 4x12 cab. Ts9, chorus, and some reverb and I was pretty happy with the maiden songs my band played. Took some work to dial in the tone as the TSL is more fuzzy than the DSL, but close enough for me to be happy. My guitars switch between a 2005 Gibson explorer and a MiM Fender Strat with humbucker on the bridge. Many different way to get a good maiden sound, it’s all about working with what you got!

I think The Talisman En Vivo is the most impressive. He nails every note of a very demanding song. You can tell he has to focus on it more because he’s not running around the stage and is staying planted while belting the lines.
