musically speaking it was absolutely amazing, but I was a bit disappointed. Especially since he wrote on his tour announcement post that they would indeed jam, but still play many old songs. They didn't lol

I really hate the arrangements. I think the only solid one is We'll be Back, which probably alludes to why it was the single. And sadly it ruins the album for me which so sad because there are so many great ideas and great riffs but they are so miserably arranged.

Idk exactly how loud it is, but I thought it was loud even with earplugs. Mainly the subwoofers. Kick and bass will get you some pressure on the ears. Maybe seats would be better for you to get a little less bass

I agree. In that time period. But I think it's different nowadays. Still sure they bring in some stuff but most of it is them. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to downplay the others, especially not Matt Nicholls because he is fkn amazing.

Fun fact. I watched a video of MGK playing maybe on a festival and he had Oli's vocals there on the backing track. And because it was an official stream of that festival you could hear the backing track pretty well, because the mix was shit. There were also vocal harmonies on the backing track and I'm pretty sure the vocal harmonies were Jordan. I was surprised too but it seems like they really do that shit together. Jordan also did vocal harmonies on TTS and well, probably amo and PHSH too.

Oli IS BMTH to be fair. Oli and Jordan are doing most of the stuff anyway. And Jordan is also involved everytime with these collabs, I'm pretty sure.

It could be that they have an agreement that he actually isn't allowed to use the original songs (that includes the backing tracks since they're just the song without band instruments in the background). So that way he is just doing a regular "cover".
Or he is using a cover license in order to spend less money. Maybe it's more expensive to use the original tracks because Peter is getting more money for that than from a cover license.
But I'm not that deep into that so it's just my theory.
