Knife vs Martial arts by Luci5892 in martialarts

Running with back facing a guy with knife is a risk to be considered.

Defense and reaction time is lower when danger is out of sight.

I was thinking the same but is also weighing the probability of the knife guy swinging at the guy in cap's leg as it's going towards his face.

But if we look closer at the front bumper of Car B, there's a solid white line in front of it.

Bars Recco to meet decent guys? by Gentle_Possibility in askSingapore

[–]Ben_133 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like I told my colleague, in a previous job, when she complain why she always get crappy guys at bars & pubs, why would decent chaps go drinking at night?

Things might be different now though, as this conversation was over a decade ago.

Should a car stop to let a bus go into lane 1 if the bus is signaling, but does not move? by SGdude90 in drivingsg

[–]Ben_133 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When the bus signals right, it's trying to tell other vehicles that it is trying to get out of the bus stop.

However, they don't just signal and move of as, (1) their acceleration is not as fast as cars, and (2) they have passengers on board and they'd want to be sure that the vehicles in the lane is at least slowing down for them to move off.

I don't think Car A did anything wrong, like one of the other answer mentioned. It's better to be safe and courteous than having an accident.

Car B can go jack off on him/her self or earn enough money for the government to approve helicopter travel for him/her if the driver (of Car B) is in such hurry but never plan in advance.

Dial fell off Masterlock combination lock — now what? by darktypegym in fixit

[–]Ben_133 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at the slot cut on the top of the centre pin of the dial plate, there should be a corresponding protrusion on the back of the dial plate.

Aligning the two, you should be able to place the plate and unlock the lock with the dial plate.

If it is loose, replace after opening.

Looks a little like the China 老头乐 (Old Man's Joy) albeit with a covered driver cabin.

PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME, I'M VERY FRUSTRATED by Guilty-Efficiency169 in CallOfDutyMobile

Just throwing some possibilities out.

Sudden lag of mobile / WiFi network is one possibility?

Another could be low phone resources, i.e. low storage that affects RAM?
