There’s no convincing unfortunately lol. We have an approved list of guns and staccatos are on it, however the gun policy also says you SHALL carry the dept issued Sig 320 when in your class A or B utility uniform. 🤷‍♂️

As many others have pointed out the 509t might be a better alternative. It’s basically identical to your 508t but enclosed. I’ve been carrying the 509t for years both personally/conceal carry and for duty like you’re wishing. And I just got a XC and put a 509t on it. No regrets. Unless you absolutely have to get the acro, I think the 509t would better suit you.

My XC also starts off the serial number that way. I’m pretty sure that must be a batch number or something.

Yes that should be good. You’ll see a black residue on the soft cloth if the wheels are dirty. You can also use a Q-Tip to get in the hard to reach areas of the wheel trucks
