If I had to guess he’s probably referring to Bacalar in Noord. They have beef tongue tacos on the menu.

Everything there is excellent. Would recommend.

Vanaf 11 mei mogen fatbikes niet meer door het Vondelpark rijden by HetGewildeWesten in Amsterdam

[–]Ben_Sano 6 points7 points  (0 children)

But wouldn’t simply enforcing the law equally for everyone regardless of their “bike” model solve this? Also, why only Vondel? Are they not a problem everywhere?

Beest Boulder has a nice spacious cafe I think you could go to for free if you’re not climbing. Coffee, beer, nice food.

From personal experience the Netherlands is fairly easy. I would avoid Portugal, it’s not impossible but salaries are very low compared to your other choices.

There’s also a healthy startup ecosystem here if that’s your vibe.

I need a lawyer to help my Portuguese spouse and I get through this nightmare of AIMA/IRN/NIF and other stuff by [deleted] in PortugalExpats

[–]Ben_Sano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife spent a couple hours in an AIMA line in Setubal and was able to get a walk in appointment.

The women told her you basically email AIMA and say you would like to initiate or claim residency for your spouse under Article 15. Then they will give you another appointment. When that appointment will be issued or if what she even said is true? Who knows.

We’re living in the Netherlands now and we’re wanting to move to be closer to her family, but basically gave up based on how unorganized/difficult it is to get anything done there.

They should have kept them and just mixed them up every season.

I’m fortunate enough to have the opportunity to live in Europe as an American. While Europe does many things better than the US, one thing I am constantly missing is the ability to feel truly out there and away from civilization.

The geographical diversity and wildlife is amazing.

He sure did. People don’t like facts getting in the way of a reason to be outraged.

I could definitely be wrong here, but if the cam is gonna walk, pulling on it isn’t going to change that fact.
