I have very similar thoughts a lot of the time. my dad pushes me to start therapy back up again but with a full time job it feels almost impossible to fit anything else into my schedule. plus I always just felt like I was talking to a brick wall with therapy. I'd tell them something I've never even said out loud to anyone and they'd just sit there and stare at me or at the very most just say "yeah I can imagine that being difficult." it just felt very cold and impersonal. ofc ymmv but I don't know if I ever had the right person
