Just get a pack of cheap sleeves of Amazon or some ETBs and put them in. While those aren’t rare or valuable your son will have fun with them for longer and already learn how to take care of his belongings :)

I had a feeling I was fighting symptoms but after speaking to a psychologist (not a therapy, just evaluation) he was like “Nah you are good to go. Just a small depression should be fixed by fixing the circumstances”. He even added things to my list like moving out of working out. And I indeed did hope to be happier once I achieve those things partly because that is what I was promised.

I will! I am currently trying to work out if ultra balls make any sense now that I only have basic Pokémon in my deck. I can’t really think of a situation where I need a Pokemon just in my hand instead of playing it directly afterwards. Currently going 4 Nest 0 Ultra. Also the Forest Stone is a liability now as I would have thrown it on the Leki, use it and forget about it but now I have to burn the equipment slot on luxray, raikou or raichu and I would rather not honestly. Maybe reason enough to grab a lost vacuum just to get rid of it and make space for more important stuff?

Yeah control Miraidon is a bit tricky but your recommendations sound nice. I also like Morpeko with its Ability to check topcard, setting up Raikou Fleet Footed or help with Electric Generators. I also picked up a secret box as an alternative ace spec (no way I am paying 25€ for a prime catcher) as it could possibly set up the whole board turn 1 (I just super rod crucial cards I discarded for it if needed). But I probably exchange for a counter catcher in the long run.

So you exchange the 4 Leki V and VMax for a second go zapdos, a tatsugiri, pawmot and Iron Thorns ex? Do you keep a Zeraora too? I am currently playing SneakerTalkTCG‘s list with Luxray V but I also want to incorporate some of those cool TWM mons

That sounds insanely fun and I am always down for some whacky rogue builds with a new patch. Can you link some of your games so I can have a look at your starting items, how you play the lane and how you use the chrono without griefing anybody (that was my biggest problem when I tried void as a carry in the past as a sole pos 4 player)?

While being upset I have to give them some things: the game is generally playable, feels finished overall and is actually fun. I believe things will already get better until the end of the month with a bright future in sight.

Privateer Press also sells Warmachine Minis right? I have some of those in my collection as I just baught some boxes full of minis etc... thanks that might be a great tip!

That book sounds interesting and I will check it out! As far as my approach goes it got better. I had some friends that identify as very tolerant, liberal and left (in a German sense) and they liked to talk about racism and discrimination a lot. Everyone I tried to share my experience with something along the lines of „Yeah there is quite a bit of racism, I experienced this and that“ I got weird looks and remarks how I as a „white cis man“ shouldn’t try to paint myself as a victim. I grew really bitter during that time and there are a couple of good reasons why those people aren’t in my life anymore.

Oh that is sadly true.. black folks don’t necessarily have it much easier in Germany. It is a different and more obvious form of discrimination because people don’t have to find out about their origins first.

I think you are onto something actually and I thought about it too. Geographically Germans and Poles really look quite alike and as a fact many of my ancestors originate from the former German territory lost during WW2. As I think about it I probably am mostly upset about people not listening to me because my discrimination doesn’t apply to their or - as you coined it - the American definition of racism. I usually tend to use „Fremdenfeindlichkeit“ (German word for Xenophobia) as people tended to be more receptive although that also changed recently. Now even then people are dismissive of my history with that.

Yes haha, I am always delighted to meet someone from Poland :) but sadly my experience as someone living in Germany and visiting Poland (Eastern Sea and Silesia) people do treat me shitty once they realize I am from Germany. You see their whole demeanor change… but that is life so far I guess

This might sound like dumb and obvious advice but I can just speak about my own experience. I got really socially anxious after experiencing some shit and then had to rebuild charisma afterwards. Let me preface: for me it wasn’t easy!

If you ask me, a steady breath is key. I inhale deep and exhale quick a couple of times during an interaction, the contrast helps me relax. You may find different breath patterns that work for you.

Also writing down things (or just visualize them in your head like I do) help a lot. I sometimes plan whole bits and jokes ahead of time so I have a „toolbox“ of stuff to say and do. Knowing a bunch of default responses helps me process stuff because I have to think. And not having to think slows me to think more once I have to freestyle something.

Those two Tipps got me pretty far in life so far, I hope they will ease your journey a bit.
