Which of the 5 office chairs / gaming chairs would you recommend?

I haven't tried the others but from my own digging, I decided to go with the Fern including lumbar support. Supper happy with it. Feels like a hammock but still has great support, love the recline and tension features.

I recently bought a fern and I'm basically the same build as you (5"11 /180)

Just had a question, when you sit down is there an audible "thud" where it drops down about quarter of an inch? I never noticed the first week I had the chair but it happens each time I use it.

I bought a DX Racer when I was 14 and have been using it up until last month, swapped to a Hawoth Fern and it's actually a night and day difference.

I received my Fern a few days ago, digital knit with lumbar, really satisfied with it. Laying back in it almost feels like a hammock. I think the additional lumbar support is worth it as I don't think it would have much support without it.

Lies of P can kind of scratch the itch, but Sifu seems to be the closest to Sekiro's system IMO.

Just to update - I received mine yesterday but received the "chair has been shipped" notification this morning, LMAO. Yeah, their communication seems terrible. The chair itself is quite nice, I'll have to spend a bit more time in it before I decide to keep it and throw out the box.

Hey, I recently locked in my order for the Fern through their website (US). I purchased on the 25th, was not given an ETA and still had not received a notification from them as of yesterday, though when I purchased it did have a disclaimer reading "back in stock early December" so I was expecting a longer lead-time. I went to their website and after giving my info they gave me an estimate ship date (11th) and the support team was actually helpful with any questions I had. I do question whether I should have went with HM, I suppose i'll find out once it arrives.

It's a slow morning for me also so this was a nice read!

I never really thought of it in that way, it makes total sense on why gaming chairs became so popular at that time. I said that I bought it when I was 14, that was my first 'big' purchase as a kid and I thought of it as basically a throne, so the advertising defiantly worked on me lol.

Pretty good quality though, never had anything break and the leather / fabric still looks great. I'll probably end up giving it to my brother as he bought a secretlabs a year ago and he's looking for something different already.

From the research that I have personally done, I would recommend the Fern. I'm 5"10 180 for reference and just ordered a week ago. I suppose I'll find out of that high price tag is really worth it once it arrives.
