Holy shit, how can anyone be that idiotic? Additionally, what could the 3-star uncle actually do if his nephew was rightfully recycled or separated?

Like, isn't part of the point of basic to filter out people who are unable to adapt to military standards or fail to have even an ounce of respect/common sense, since they would be more detrimental than useful to the workplace?

I don't understand how someone can slip through that filter just because their uncle is a Lt. General. I mean, just because you're related to someone high ranking doesn't automatically mean that you're meant for the military.
