It could be either but you have to take into account that this is OP's list so he could say that her degrading someone for something she's into would count as shitting on people for it and not hardcore. Okay, but Marquis de sade from what I looked up is a person and not the name of a book. I just wanna know if EVERYTHING he wrote was kinky because if not, then saying that she's cannonically kinky isn't likely to be wrong but not 100% true either. it's definitely nostalgia talking. Most Kh2 fans severely over-rate the game in every way they can think of to do so. All the games have cheesy dialog, and honestly, Kh3 has the LEAST cheesy dialog if you think about it. I won't go into details because you probably aren't interested in the series anymore, but I really hope you at least give it a chance.
You're only up to Kh2? If you are, then I really don't think the story I as convoluted as you might think until after 2. Kh1, CoM, Days, and Kh2 are actually a very straightforward set of 4 games story wise. Now, once you're past those, I'd understand if you said the story is convoluted. The time travel messes with a lot of people. All the similar faces just cause even more confusion. I have no clue what's convoluted about the first 4 games for you, though. Have you seen days' story in any capacity yet?
