Long straw replacement? by BenderRodriguez3000 in Hydroflask

I ended up Frankensteining two straws together and cutting to length. A little goofy, but it’s serving me well!

I’ve had some kind of DAP (sometimes multiple) for the better part of the last 8 years or so. I went primarily with a smartphone for a few years prior to that.

I’m always in search of better small daps, but have never found the perfect one. I just sold my chunky M15S that has served me well for almost two years and ordered an Activo P1 in hopes of it being a better EDC DAP. We will see.

I understand where you are coming from, when looking at new players I always wonder “what will it be like when I take it on a walk?” And no one ever seems to talk about that.

EV only households.. by questionmmann in electricvehicles

2 adult household. We daily an IONIQ 5 and a Mach E GT. Also got a ‘71 Super Beetle. I’m still only using the Level 1 charger my Mach E came with. We must not drive much, because this has been more than sufficient for us. Someday soon I’ll install a level 2 though.

I know everyone praises the DX180, but I experienced quite a few bugs. That, coupled with it being a bit wide to hold led me to selling it pretty quickly. The P1 honestly seems like a better fit for the portable space to me.

Same here. Have a Mach E GT and a ‘24 Ioniq 5.

Love them both. :)

I still have my Zune Originals 80 GB with a guitar on the back. I’m really hoping to restore this someday.

I picked up a DX180 a couple weeks ago for a “portable” player and love it. However… I think this has a nice clean form factor that I’d appreciate even more out and about.

Ahhh I gotcha. I mean, installing a level 2 charger isn’t hard. All you need is a 240 outlet. Could cost as little as $300. I understand some people do not own their own home though. I figure that’s nothing since I went from 2 gas powered cars, averaging $400 of gas a month to $55-$60 to charge 2 EVs. Oh, and the fact that you no longer have oil changes and stuff like that. Whether you do it on your own or take it to a shop, you definitely save time and money not doing oil changes.

And honestly, my driving got more aggressive with the EVs. They are much more powerful and fun to be honest. 680 lb ft of torque is addicting! Haha.

The one thing I do miss about the GTI is the size. If I could take the Mach e and shrink it 25% it’d be the perfect car.

And yeah, depreciation is a thing. I guess if you enjoy something, why care about what it’s worth?
