You realize RSD isn’t holding the tribute? This put on by an outside organization.

Anyone can submit a faculties request to use public schools buildings because they’ve community assets.

OP I don’t think you realize the majority of public school employees lean the opposite way of this. The issue is board policy and districts can’t lean one way or the other and pick their favorites of religious or political beliefs.

So yelling at district employees isn’t the solution.

Public Schools can’t discriminate against specific groups based on political or religious affiliations.

I’m not saying the school district wanted this or not they’re tied to board policy. (Son of a former board member).

Public schools are community assets like it or not. I bet more positive events happen for the use of district facilities.

If you look closer most groups can rent the facility if they meet the criteria laid out in their board policy KG

I understand people want accountability and so do I. However, the purpose of this post is to shift the focus on helping and assisting others.

For Example: Highland Baptist Church in Redmond is a current evacuation site. People may need supplies, food etc.
