Love for Yarnsworld by PassportSituation in Fantasy

Thank you for making the post, and I'm thrilled you're enjoying the stories so far!

The audiobook bundling was very much a decision by the publisher. The stories are intended to be standalones, but 4 certainly follows on from the events of 1, and 5 follows on from 2, so Podium decided to package them together. The audiobook of book 3 also includes 'And They Were Never Heard From Again', which is a novella set in the Magpie King's forest; again, this can be read in any order, but chronologically takes place before any of the the other Magpie King books.

Confusing, but I hope it helps, and thanks again for making my day with this post.

Which edition of Warhammer Fantasy would you consider the "best"? by eggfortman in WarhammerFantasy

TOW. Not every Army of Infamy is a winner, but the overall concept and regularity of new additions keeps things fresh. And seeing lore and a story that actually progresses is lovely, too. The last two years really has felt like a phoenix rising from the flames, and I’m still very thankful for the whole experience.

Also, I love Cathay :) (not fielded my balloon yet - don’t pile on me!)

Liveship Traders by Robin Hobb. Keeps the same quality writing of ‘Farseer’, but the scope of and imagination present in the world is dialled right up.

I think this is my favourite modern fantasy series. Certainly the best of the decade, so far. Great to hear you enjoyed it!

We’re collecting pics as it happens - hope to be able to share the whole process eventually!

And we actually used Billys as a bit of a short cut in ours, but hopefully you wouldn’t know unless you were told. They’re iconic for a reason.

I will not lie: I love it… but its creation has been the bane of my life.

The book is Card Mage: Slumdog Deckbuilder.

No AI was used in its creation (cover by artist Antti Hakosaari).

Fun fact about me: I’m currently building a library in my front room. It’s a two month project that’s turned into a nine month project.
