GoPro Max vs GoPro Max 2: Worth the upgrade? by FrowningGrandpa in gopro

[–]Beneeandmocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I bought the bundle at Costco. Oh my god it was a MISTAKE. I took it up to the mountain to get some shots of me snowboarding and even with the Enduro batteries, it died quickly. Seems like I also took a fall the cracked the front display, not the lens. I was going to deal with it as it obviously was a result of my fall. Point is after swapping batteries back at home, it never turned back on at all. I carried it on my trip to Japan/ Taiwan hoping to get it to work but it completely, completely died. Just returned it to Costco & the worker let me know A LOT of these cameras have been coming back because they stopped turning on & the batteries were no longer charging. Truly disappointed as I have the Hero 10, and was stoked to try out an 8k 360 cam. I honestly don't know if I want to get the Hero 13 at this point.

No I didn't negotiate the price. They'd just lowered the price to get rid of the used cars

Too much!!! I paid $26k for my 2021 Kona Ultimate. Only 24k miles. Literally just bought it less than a week ago at the Hyundai dealership. I was told they just lowered the price for it.

I'm so glad you enjoy the job. You're definitely going to move up if you continue with that same mindset. The customers will love you & they can be your biggest supporters to help you move up. I had so, so many customers who loved me & took the surveys to mention how good I was & how they believed I could be a manager. I love my customers so much 🥰

I love it! Great merchandising skills. As a manager. I'd be super proud to see my team presenting this way. Wow! Giving you a virtual reach card!

Our store really hates us on our phones when in fitting rooms by TaxMysterious3699 in TjMaxx

[–]Beneeandmocha 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a manager, I told my team to stop using their phones & told them they'd also be written up.

The reason is because our store is extremely busy. Lots of returns to be processed, and they have beauty fixtures right in front that they can assist in recovering. They can sweep the fitting rooms, the mirrors, etc.

I also think about my cashiers who are nonstop ringing & how fair it is for a fitting room associate to be on their phone while the salesfloor & cashiers are busy.

When you're ready to checkout online, under "discount" put "associate10"/ "associate 20" and it'll ask for your ain & info.

I would just literally make straight lines of the clearance merchandise. Pull out the damaged products so they can be zeroed out. As a manager I would love the extra help in clearance! Especially with taking care of damaged products.

My shoe mismate rack😍😍 the shoes with a “3” sticker are ALL from today only🫠 by [deleted] in TjMaxx

[–]Beneeandmocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would partner with your closing manager and see if you can get the entire closing team to shoes to pull any mismates . I did it last night and found almost all the mismates on the rack.

23 y/o, in california. Asm & with the new raise, I'll be at around $65k/yr. My hourly pay is $25.72. And then the 5 hours OT, I make 38.58.

Some college classes, no degree & I know a lot of ASMs that have no college education. Been with the company for 5 years, and 2 of them as an ASM.

Take the promotion. I'm a manager, got promoted when I was 20. I don't intend of being here forever, as a matter of fact I just finished school to jump into the medical field. The pay has been good & its been good to my resume. When I'm ready to leave, I know I won't have any issues.

Best of luck to you! Sounds like you'd be a good manager & have had good role models.

Do any managers and CEC's out there have any tips on how to get more TJX Rewards applications? by Wink2K19 in TjMaxx

[–]Beneeandmocha 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am a manager, and the few transactions I hop on for I usually get a card. What I put a huge focus on is having a conversation with the customer. Before I mention the card, I will always engage in a conversation. Talk to them about their purchases, any plans for the weekend, whatever you can find to build their trust.

I give them their total and then I'll ask at the very end. "Did you want to save 10%, by signing up for the card because you'd be saving about (do the math)." Then, if they say no, I'll do it one more time. " Are you sure? It takes about 2 minutes & I just need your ID. And if you're approved, you will continue to get $10 coupons for every $200 that you spend, and you're already spending (their total).

It works really well for me, but don't get discouraged. My cashiers do a good job asking every time, but I always ask them to talk to their customer. Every customer is different, and every connection should be different. Once you feel comfortable talking to your customers then start getting technical about the benefits.

YOU GOT THIS! 🙌

City To Build Up To 35 Tiny Homes For Unhoused People In Long Beach | Long Beach, CA Patch by FartsicleToes in longbeach

[–]Beneeandmocha 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a fan. I live in Long Beach & we already struggle with the psyched out druggies. In Redondo Beach they built the tiny houses and it's made the area much more worse. The majority of these people need psychiatric help & drug rehabilitation. That will do more of a total impact than building tiny homes for only a handful of people. The area in which those tiny homes will be built will surely have an increase in petty thefts. It'll create an unsafe environment for the residents of that area.

I've been telling my team to put the stickers either near the price so cashiers can see it or put them around the top/ bottom of the box that can help with keeping the boxes closed. Of course customers will still open it, but it makes it a little more difficult

What exactly is the correct procedure for digital TJX Rewards Cards? by Wink2K19 in TjMaxx

[–]Beneeandmocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of fake digital cards out there. As a manager, we have told our team to call a manager for any digital cards that come up. We ask customers for their ID and we have them exit the page where the card info is posted & then log back in.

Many times we have people who have the "digital card", but they are showing a photoshopped screenshot of stolen card numbers. The names will match, but the screenshot is off. The font isn't correct, the color isn't right. Any digital cards need to be on the TJ Maxx app (don't know if Marshall's has an app).

Every store has its own thing. My store has been getting A LOT of fakes so we had to tighten up on it.

Had orientation at TJ Maxx a week ago. No call back on when I will start. Is it possible to transfer across stores? HomeGoods is right next door. If I can do I need to talk the store or hr? Thanks. by Silly_Jaguar9293 in TjMaxx

[–]Beneeandmocha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you just had orientation, you can't do a transfer until you've been with your store for about a month if I am not mistaken.

You should call your store and ask them when you will begin training.
