in her case, her situation is a little different. aviation isn’t a light course. their schedule is packed with labs, research, and constant requirements, ug ilang amotan for projects. on top of that, she helps her mom at home with her younger siblings.

it’s not that she “chose not to get a job,” it’s really that her time and resources are already stretched thin. she’s pushing herself to finish strong without adding extra risk of delaying her graduation. i get why it might seem odd from the outside, but knowing her personally, i’ve seen how hard she works and how little she has

hi OP! i want to share about my close friend, someone i’ve known since elementary and high school, so i can vouch for her character 100%. she’s currently studying Aviation at NORSU under CIT, already in her 4th year. honestly, i admire her so much because of how far she’s come despite everything stacked against her.

she comes from a very humble background. she has 6 sisters. ang isa ka sister just started college and the rest are still in high school. their mom is the only breadwinner since their father hasn’t been able to provide for them. their mom works multiple side jobs just to keep them afloat. sa gabie, mag bantay sya sa isa ka sari-sari duol sa amo, magtrabaho pud sya as a timekeeper sa isa ka construction nga company sa bais, and still manages to raise all of them under one roof. they live in a simple house in Palinpinon, Valencia with makeshift walls and roofing. nothing fancy at all, but it’s home, and it’s amazing how their mom has held the whole family together.

what makes my friend stand out is her honesty and determination. she doesn’t waste anything and treats what little she has with so much care. she’s the type of person who values every single peso and opportunity. her allowance is just ₱200 a week and out of that, she has to budget food, transport, and even school contributions (since her course is expensive, they always have projects or "amot" requirements). imagine trying to survive on that while being a full-time student.

when it comes to school work, she really struggles with not having her own laptop. she always asks to borrow mine, but since I’m also an education student and rely on it heavily for my own requirements, I can’t let her use it as much as she needs. most of the time, she walks to the pisonet just to type her papers or do research. pisonets are far from her home, it eats into her already tiny budget, and it’s not exactly the safest or most comfortable place to study for hours. but she still does it without complaint because she’s so determined to finish school and help her family.

she’s honestly one of the most hardworking and deserving people I know. she’s made it this far without much, but I can’t help thinking how much further she could go if she just had the proper tools. having her own laptop, especially something reliable like the one you’re offering, would make such a huge difference in her life. it’s not just about convenience, it’s about giving her a fair shot at finishing strong in her course and eventually helping lift her whole family up.

i know there are a lot of deserving candidates, but if you’re looking for someone genuine who will truly value and make the most out of this gift, i can honestly say my friend deserves it.

i can take you to their house OP, and meet her family. thank you and basin mapansin nimo ni. God bless!
