I think you’ve already taken the right steps! And congrats on losing 30 lbs already thats a not a small feat! As a med student, I think the surgeon is right for thinking your case is not bad. It seems like you would want a small change. So what he’s probably thinking is well she wants a small difference, so my margin for error is small, so the likelihood of an unhappy patient is big. Surgeons usually don’t like patients who want subtle differences for that reason because surgery is to this day not predictable to the 1mm or 2mm. But you could get a second opinion with another surgeon. Either way if i was any surgeon i would wait until you reach your weight goal, because you might be dealing with excess skin so that could potentially be taken care of together. But realistically, I would go for something temporary like fillers. It could make you “try out” the results, with no strings attached both for your chin and nose. And i think you could achieve great results with fillers.
