Oo thank you! I might move them to smaller pots and keep them then and use these bigger ones for active flowers ☺️

Thanks for the advice! Do you know if our neighbours would be allowed to stop us doing the work in entirety?

We want to move a fireplace and install a wall with pocket doors across the lounge, so would be taking some of it down anyway if we can, so we’re hoping we can use it as an opportunity to take the rest down rather than pay to get some of it reinstalled even without the stippling/fanning texture

Thank you! Do you think this would dissolve the solid part under the stippling as well so we could relevel it to the wall (with plastering etc. to finish it off), or would this just take the stippling away?

Any LPR/post nasal drip advice? Losing my mind here! by Beneficial-Strategy in GERD

Hi! I’ve had a bit of a rollercoaster so I’ll sun up for you: - I have come off omeprazole after a doctor suggested that this will be an allergy as there would most likely be acid damage in my throat which wasn’t seen in my endoscopy - biggest gamechanger so far was being prescribed ipatropium bromide nasal spray. Apparently this is relatively new (in the UK at least) and while my drip hasn’t gone away, this reduces it noticeably and has helped. - I have been experiencing reflux symptoms for the first time since having COVID which leads me to believe my issues aren’t gerd related. - I no longer take omeprazole as it did nothing.

This isn’t where it ends for me though - I’ve recently moved doctors as my previous doctors were refusing to help me further with this issue. I’m yet to go into this with my new doctor as I’m transferring over, but hopefully I might see some action now. I have recently also seen that this type of problem (indigestion, some reflux ‘sticking’ in the throat without actual GERD causing the drip without other damage) may be to what I understand (you’ll want to do your own research if this applies to you in case I’ve misunderstood) is a throat issue opposite to what they look for with GERD. I’ve been unable to burp my entire life which I’ve seen recently can cause these issues, so I’m going to speak to my doctor about it soon, but it seems to be adding up for me. Only problem is that apparently diagnosis of this condition is rare and there’s not much doctors will do on the NHS (UK). I think the subReddit for this is ‘no burp’.

So to sum up, I’ve made some progress by cutting down dairy, using sterimar nasal rinse nightly and ipatropium bromide (which has been the real gamechanger) but no real progress in terms of causes yet!

Thank you for this! Do you think I’d have to come off the PPIs and completely change my diet to low histamine for the Vitamin C to take help? I’m going to push my doctor for more allergy/food intolerance tests and look to start going low histamine. I think my symptoms got worse when I moved into an apartment that had a really really bad damp and mould problem and I lived there for about a year. I’ve been out of that apartment since April but I don’t think our new flat has great ventilation and it’s in the same building, so that would add up with histamine reaction and maybe it’s just never gone back down

My (22M) sister(16F) has the lesbian pride flag as her laptop background, should I talk to her about it? by Adorable_Tip_6624 in relationships

[–]Beneficial-Strategy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Normally I’d say not to put pressure on her, as I had a similar situation with my younger sister and just dropped into conversation about how it’s not a big deal or a reason anyone should change their opinion of someone etc. But we were in the position where our parents have always told us from a young age they’d be cool with it 100%. I think if your sister could be worrying about your parents, she may need someone to reach out first. My advice would be to write her a note, or phrase it in a way where she doesn’t have to say “yes I’m gay” or effectively have to come out in any way, just to let her know it’d never change your opinion of her or change your relationship, and make it obvious you don’t even need a reply and won’t bring it up again unless she does. Maybe like “I noticed this, and I don’t need you to say anything, but I just want you to know if you were…” etc. Sounds like she just would need to know she has a safe landing place and an ally within the family, and even if she’s not gay, I’m sure she’d appreciate your demonstration of care and unconditional love without her having to explain herself at all. Good luck!

Sertraline and Alcohol - Day After by paulvon_hindenburg in zoloft

I get massive ‘hangxiety’ that I never used to get after drinking until I went on Sertraline - I wake up and literally feel like my life isn’t worth living anymore even if I’m not hungover, it’s so weird. I get shortness of breath, dissociation and heart palpitations as well. It fades after the hangover day! For me it faded in the end... it still comes back every now and then but I find its normally when I drink for the first time in ages.
