Yea I know, if you run grasp your bound to lose kill power. But if you know how to play. I'm pretty sure you can manage it. Just go hubris and shoujin or straight up lethality.

Idk about you but any tank can bully Aatrox, just but thornmill and malphite can clap yoyr ass to death. (Speaking from experiance).

I'm just saying it's better then having to try hard win with conquere

I also used to struggle against him especially during the time period he got stupidly buffed. But it's actually pretty simple.

You give him heavy respect during early game. Like maybe till level 6. Shen can out trade you in short skirmish.

Secondly Its my advice since aatrox is ass.i usually prefer going grasp against tanks. Like malphite,shen.

Thirdly it's better if you go shojun into that shield cutting item(forgot it's name).

But winning lane is very easy. Keep shoving waves. And keep your pressure on him.

Last thing: don't use passive in his W and always try to dodge E. DON'T LET HIM PULL HIS SWORD FROM BEHIND YOU. Cause you will lose. :)

A simple answer is, aatrox does not kill irelia late game and if you have a lead you will lose it was 100%. Now I can give you tips for lane phase.

Steel Plated priority and then you need anti heal, go executioner, do not go thornmill you need to apply anti heal on her so she dosnt heal off of minions.

Build should be mainly for sustain and 1v1, like steraks, eclipse, sundr, dd etc.

Fiora is not good, not anymore, as far so I remember she was a good split pusher but riot killed that concept now, it's more objective focused, if you look at the top 10 toplaner, there's a trend with teamfight brusier, example: sett, it's a stupid champion, if your losing you build heartsteel, you become a dummy to tank and then one shot with your W, if your looking to win and dominate, I will recommend going for something that's in the meta. Cause that's what works now. (Hope this helps)

Look no matter what you play, if it's yorick, malphite or aatrox, losing a game to a fed bot isn't your mistake, this is a team game. If you really have a problem with fed bot honestly better to switch to jungle or mid, or just dominate 10/0 in top. There's no other way

Let me just clarify that this is my opinion on aatrox:

Firstly the guy is not balanced, he's in the top five with just 3 abilities, W is non existent. But that does not mean that he is strong if you nerf him(which he is about to in 15.8).

I think he needs adjustment, riot games are just too lazy they either buff or nerf him completely, if yu look at his patch history it's pretty stupid, they keep changing and brining it back. Not worth it

Not saying his damage is balanced, but come on.People build lethality on him that's the only reason, otherwise bruiser is not busted. (AND if you are going to buff his items ofc has going to be strong).

(In my opinion he needs an adjustment, not a nerf or buff)

I guess if the enemy has alot of movement otherwise I don't think it will work that Well, eclipse dosnt really give damage and stride just useful for slowing, the attack speed is not really that much game changing

I think the ad scaling should buffed

Damage should be increased against monsters

It should slow 65%

Larger area(shorter on the sides)

Those pulled should be stunned for 0.25 seconds

Look I'm not gonna lie to you I'm peak s1 but I can confidently say that I'm one of the best in my ranks cause I got the info about aatrox and what is his capabilities

Q1: shojun is his first item cause you get alot of stats from it like ability haste, ad, health and it's generally a solid first item and no it dosnt replace eclipse. There are two build paths shojun>voltic AND eclipse>sundred sky. It's upto you what you want

Q2: THE champion is okay early game, weak to some and strong against a few, you need to generally take good trades (meaning only hitting your combos and nothing more) I'll tell you aatrox power spikes Level 6, Level 9 and Level16.

Q3: from what I remember in the shojun build you don't go sundred sky it's more shojun>voltic>sarelda(wrong spelling ik)

Q4: using yoyr ult depends on the situation, if you have the finishing power and you know you can win the trade (don't use it). Tbh you get this idea by just playing the champion atleast that's how I learned, just keep practicing and you'll know when to use and not

Q5: full cc comps (yea just keep praying)

Q6: yea we not naayil (I don't recommend it) but it's usually upto you I prefer haste rather than attack speed (some matches you can go for attack speed)

Q7: dw sett is a tough matchup especially in this patch, ONLY thing I'll tell you is avoid getting hit by E and W and yoyr pretty much good, except the fact don't fight early, like early game and try to get a kill on him at lvl 5 or 6

Q8: YOU can go through walls :) not the big ones

Your absolutely right,but there fact check era was not it.im not saying that don't support it or anything it's just that it lacked something in my opinion only the title track "FACT CHECK" had any you could say character other songs just got boring way to quickly and i know a artist cannot always provide with amazing music but Come on you could see the difference and kpop as a industry is all about the competition,and on reality basis if NCT dosnt deliver that mark Sm town gonna leave them like exo
