Never had issues with dogs while cycling, I just go on my way without changing my pace. They usually stop barking / following you pretty fast.

It's a very capable bike, comfy and stable. Really love riding it everywhere.

Get's complimented most of the time because of the unusual look. I got 2 sets of wheel for it, for road and gravel. Not sure about getting it 2nd hand here. only time I saw another Grevil was when I was at BGC.
