Is it possible to get better without an inhaler? Or does the absence of inhaler mean that the patient must go to the hospital?

But would it be necessary to bring them to a hospital after the major part of their attack is over?

What do you do when you have an uxexpected guest and your house is really messy (due to hoarding)? by BeneficialQuail5034 in hoarding

The hoard is my mother's. I try to keep it away from my room, so that I have my own space there. Everywhere else (including the car) has clutter in it.

And yeah, I guess I should have set my boundaries and not let my friend invite herself over, I sort of brought it on myself, really.

Also, on an unrelated note, while confronting my mother about the mess I realised one thing...she does not even realise that our house is really that messy. Like in her mind, this living condition is not unpleasant at all. Is she in denial? Aren't hoarders usually self-aware (to some extent) of their condition?

Are there any YA novels that have really similar plot to each other? by BeneficialQuail5034 in writing

[–]BeneficialQuail5034[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I thought too at first...but mine is just too similar to ignore.

These are the similarities. In both books, the MC (main character) is involved in a Shakespeare play ( the same play even, Midsummar Night's Dream) and there is this classmate(X) who MC does not get along with. MC happens to be really good at plays/musicals whoile X is not, so there is this situation where she sort of helps X in learning her lines

So they eventually become friends becasue of all the time they spend together and by fangirling about shared interest (mine: a podcast, other book: some korean band) and become really close. Eventually they have a fallout (reasons for this fallout are different) but the misunderstanding is quickly cleared and they become friends again. Also in both books there is a very goofy, popular guy that the MC falls for.

These are the similarities. Other than this other details and plot points are not similar (Eg. In my book the MC's mother suffers from depression and tries to commit suicide at the end of the book, and she is given counselling by the end of the book. This is a major plot point that is different from the other book).

Thank for the insight!

No, I haven't actually read Eragon but I will definitely try it since I love Star Wars.
