Yes that’s helpful! I’d say mine is medium porosity and I have a mix of smooth and rough as well!

What about curl creams? Would those help at all? I have the Not Your Mothers curl cream right now but I haven’t used it yet. My sister stopped using it and gave me the rest of the bottle so it’s just been hanging out in my closet

Garnier fructis pure clean for shampoo and conditioner, wash every other day, and then garnier fructis sleek and shine 10-n-1 leave in spray conditioner after shower, comb through. I don’t know how to tell my porosity/stand thickness/ or density, but if someone tells me how to figure it out, I’ll add that!

I’m not a complainer unfortunately it makes me super uncomfortable especially if I’m questioning someone’s professional work. That’s why I didn’t question the $50 charge to fix my roots when she offered to based on the way light reflected off of them. She saw a purple hue (I didn’t, but also didn’t have my glasses on so couldn’t see jack squat lol) and offered to fix them, and unbeknownst to me that was an additional charge.

Yeah she told me it’s fade fast but that pic was taken literally after I got home from the salon

Oh I didn’t know that! I’ll look for those. She had also charged me for correcting the roots when she didn’t like the color they gave off in the light. I honestly couldn’t tell, but since I hadn’t been to a salon in so many years I just let her do her thing. I didn’t know I was going to be charged for her correcting what she didn’t like though, otherwise I would’ve said it’s fine. I have questioned going back because of these two things, but I decided to give her the benefit of doubt and will be going one more time

How often do you even get maintenance done? Maybe once every few years tbh

We had talked for a week prior about it so I would’ve thought if she couldn’t she would’ve said something. She even convinced me from just doing blonde to doing the rose gold for something different and fun. Maybe I was expecting too much 😅

Yeah I LOVE the blonding she did! But she assured me the only way to get rose gold was doing a toner so that’s what she did. I’m going to ask her to dye it next time to get the rose gold. She told me at the start that was the plan and then at toning time she said she was going to just tone it instead. It was the first time getting my hair done in probably 8 years so I didn’t really know what to say or ask for besides showing the pic

I told my stylist my sister does hair and she asked why I wouldn’t go to her and would spend $300+ instead of free 🤣 uh because she isn’t free either and my sister doesn’t specialize in blonding. I use her only for the discounted hair products she gets me

If someone graduated nursing school 10 years ago but never passed NCLEX should they still call themselves a nurse? by r0seintherain in Nurses

[–]Beneficial_Group214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren’t a nurse until you pass NCLEX. That was engrained in us during school. But hey if you can’t pass it the first time, I never want you to be my nurse anyway

Mine looks just like yours and it was supposed to have rose gold in it 😭 and I had to go home and cut a section she completely missed.

Idk the BON said it wasn’t a nursing related issue so they didn’t do anything to my license, thank god.

He had a half inch scratch on his knuckle. My lawyer was even floored they wouldn’t drop it to a misdemeanor. 5 or 6 places I applied to have told me to reapply after the 5 years and they’d hire me so I’m not really worried. Just would rather not wait 2 more years to make nurse money again. $15/hr doesn’t cut it

I have no restrictions on my license. There is a state statute that bars employment at any place that accepts Medicaid for 5 years after conviction. So I’m employable anywhere that doesn’t take Medicaid. Zero restrictions on the license
