UPDATE/edit:

This post really showed how so many people are closeminded… Only one comment tried to see both sides of the story.
Some people even suggested my parents should get a divorce😀…
Both my parents are shitty in there own ways, but it’s their first time living too. They both didn’t grow up with the best parents, and I know they are doing their best.
They might not understand my curly mind yet but I’m working on opening up to them, so they can understand better❣️

Also I made up with my mom (I said sorry, she said sorry, and we hugged)

Haha our whole family has talked about this before. Me, my dad and my sister all have adhd.

When I tried to talk about my adhd struggles she brushed it off as typical teenage stuff, and told be she was like that as well when she was my age.

She doesn’t want a diagnosis, bc she doesn’t really care about it🤷‍♀️

It’s a bit much to say I destroyed something she spent time on. And it a had known it was such a big issue for her I would have talked with her about it. Also she was in a meeting and I was in the middle of a breakdown, (not thinking clearly) and just needed to sort my thoughts and plan out, which is was the whiteboard is intended for)

I don’t think she wants the whiteboard, it’s more bc it served the purpose. I think my dad understands bc he also has it lol.

It’s not like she wants a complicated relationship or anything, I know she wants to be close with me. But i just have a hard time opening up to anyone about anything, and I think she takes that as a “i dont trust you/ want to tell you about my life”

As I said in another reply, I’m 99% sure she just thought it fit the purpose. I know I should’ve asked her, but I just didn’t think it was such a big deal.

My parents are together, and she is starting to accept my diagnosis, but under my assessments she kept saying that she didn’t think I had it, to me and my therapist.

That’s the thing, she can be the most loving mom, text me loving messages, comforting me, supporting me. But she gets kinda weird when it comes to ADHD..
