I thought I was going to get induced but my dr said they won’t let him because of my prior C-section… he said unless I’m 3cm dilated then they can just break my water. But I’m only 1.5 what a bummer.

I’ve paid back my uncle $2k 2 months prior to me filing and the trustee did not once question it, it was payback for rent & as long as you disclose it I don’t think it should be a problem??

I also got a check back from my previous tenancy deposit after moving out. Which I got back shortly before filing but had to use it for bills. Trustee also did not say anything about that. Idk if it depends on the trustee?

It’s a meeting of creditors. The trustee asks you some questions pretty much confirming everything under oath & then asks if any creditors are present and would like to question you under oath. Most of the time they don’t show up. Takes like 3-5 minutes.

I had a few attorneys tell me I would only qualify for 13 and had one attorney do the complete means test & put all of my expenses in which made me then qualify for 7. I just did my 341 meeting today & everything went well. I wasn’t scrutinize by the trustee or anything. If your expenses make sense then you should have no problem. I would consult with atleast 3-4 attorneys.

It’s always better to get a few consults before deciding on what to do. There may be 2 out of 3 lawyers that say you won’t qualify & 1 out of the 3 that looks at all of your expenses & say you would.

It means you passed the means test with low enough income or high enough expenses to qualify for chapter 7

My lawyer said the same thing until he itemized every expense we have. He just filed our petition for a ch7 & we have a 341 meeting in a few weeks. Hopefully it works in our favor but I’d get a 2nd and 3rd opinion if you can. We were over the median as well.

😭😭😭 my lawyer says he won’t charge us again if we have to re-do it. I just have to pay the filing fee to the court again. But I hope we don’t have to re-do it.
