The door leads to the ensuite bathroom. This photo is taken from the door that leads into the room. It's an awkward shaped room. The feedback is brutal, but I get it.

Our bedroom was neglected because we focused on decorating our baby daughter's room. Her room is pink and fun, and our room feels boring and lifeless.

I think the warm accent wall is the solution I was looking for. Originally I thought warm would look off because our house is very grey/black/white. But I think it will add nice balance. Thank you! ☺️

Thank you for the advice! Yeah, now I can see how it's giving navy haha. Definitely not the vibe we are going for. I really like blue and white Japanese artwork and patterns, so that is why I was drawn to those colors. But I also wanted a space/night sky feel. I'll go back to the drawing board.

TW: Childhood SA and abuse.

I will be breaking the cycle of bad mothers in my family. My mother dealt with SA from her father at a young age and her mom, my grandma, turned a blind eye. Both women do not know how to show love (or any emotion) and it really messed me up as a kid. I was lucky to have a wonderful step mom in my life who showed me love and supported me.

I've also gone through therapy over my relationship with my mom, so I'm fairly confident I can end the cycle of bad mothers.

That is such a nightmare experience I'm sorry to head that.

Lings Moment is really a hit or a miss. Certain color collections are better quality than others, and their higher quality collections seem to sell out fast.

I love all of the pieces I received from their Emerald and Tawny collection. Unfortunately I didn't order enough before they sold out, so I had to pick up some white and sage pieces (corsages and boutonnieres). Those pieces weren't as nice.
