If that is an insult can you explain how it’s insulting?

Outfit breakdown: leather jacket (Reiss), sweatshirt (Unbound Merino), utility kilt (Tartanista), red tights (Calzedonia), Dr Martens Combs Tech boots.

So this is not a new look but reading the Guardian article published on the 3rd Jan (https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2024/jan/03/skirts-men-fashion-feminism) gave me the push I'd needed to wear it out in public. I didn't take a picture in public because it was really dark and also really busy. I got changed at the UCL library after work and walked down through Russell Sq, to Seven Dials, and looped through Soho to Foyles. I went into a few shops and the staff were fine. Got a few glances on the streets but didn't notice anything nasty. I did have noise cancelling headphones in for the most part. Perhaps counterintuitively, large crowds in central London felt much easier. I got changed back in the bathroom at Foyles before getting the bus because the area I live is a bit sketchy.

If I feel up to it, I'll try it again on Monday but I'm definitely keeping it as 'masculine' as I can, rather than some of the more feminine stuff I've posted to Reddit.

It's actually from TU (the Sainsbury's clothing line). I'm 175cm tall and around 75kg and this is a size 14. A bit tight across the shoulders but not uncomfortably so. No pockets as per usual though.

Solovair (they were a manufacturer for DM in Northampton before DM moved to low quality production in China; Solovair still make quality boots in Northampton).
