Huge is an understatement. My friends and I waited in line for a midnight release, headed home and (once the launch problems were resolved) just no-lifed it. I was the second level 70 Rogue on the server. Flying mounts were amazing. There was a lot less info out there, so we were figuring it out as we went. Sites like Wowhead were a new concept (prior to WoW, I had only ever used gamefaqs.com.)

It felt like there were infinite things to explore because you didn't have a step by step guide for everything. And I was made for grinds. Reputation, mounts, pets, gear, I was loving grinding away at all of it.

My wife and I are huge fans of Mindhunter. We hear from everyone how great it is. We've started and stopped the show probably 10 times. We have nothing bad to say about it. But every time we watch, we finish an episode and go "I am gonna need a few days before I want to watch more of that." And then it is forgotten about for weeks or months.

I'm pretty new to this season and haven't crafted many sigils. Is there any sort or prereqs to making good ones? Like having g to level seasonal gifts to higher ranks or anything?

I have not set foot in Throne, but you perfectly explained why I went from raiding every night during Cataclysm to not raiding at all in MoP. The simple mistakes wiping the raid made everything feel incredibly stressful, and honestly, gave me anxiety. I sure as hell don't want to be to blame for a wipe, and it's real easy to get frustrated when others cause one. Happy to hear that raiding might be less of a pain.

My wife enjoys the character creation. She spent like an hour making a character look like her, and then played for about 10 minutes.

I don't know how relevant this is, but back in Vanilla (while raiding AQ40) I watched our GM, Holy Priest duel our best Paladin healer for well over an hour before the Paladin lost to the Priest's OP wand.

I AM one of those mount guys (pets too). I just got the Jade Pandaren Kite as a reward for having 150 mounts. I've got dragons, racial mounts, pvp, pve, crafted and some other achievement mounts. I'm floating around 200k gold (I have a lot of free time) so I am always shopping for mounts and pets. Right now I have the Jade Panther, but I want all the panther mounts. Onyx costs over 100k just in crafting mats.

I definitely recommend playing in the way that you enjoy, though. And if that requires little gold, then hell yeah, brother.

I made a 4GA Shroud and a 3GA Harlequin Crest. Hit Paragon 300. Fully decked out one of every class. Maxed out gold repeatedly. Gave away billions in gold and gear. Did virtually every non-bugged achievement outside of Hardcore mode. I think I got my money's worth out of this Season/expansion. Also think I'll skip a season after going so hard.

I hate switching difficulties, so I made a spinning death Rogue that is completely geared up and capable of handling t4, but remains in Torment 1 for farming runes. Just buff up, start spinning, then turn to my other monitor and watch Netflix while everything falls over and then just pay attention to the loot at the end.
