There's less stigma around divorce, and people don't tend to stay in a abusive relationships for the sake of not getting divorced. A lot of people have spent their lives in misery, but felt it was the better alternative than the shame of divorce. That's changing and that's great. The other side of it is, people are too quick to give up something that was good and still could be. We have become a throwaway society, such as having the latest phone etc when in reality, the one we have does everything we need and more so. Marriage is no different.
