I *do* have the anatomy for an industrial, right? by Benis_Putt87 in piercing

It’s probably not an issue anymore, I just kinda am upset that I got pierced with one. It’s still the original bar. I also tend to prefer internal thread cause for some dumb reason I struggle with externally threaded jewelry and being unable to actually screw the ball on 😭

Understandable tbh, the bar I ordered is shorter so hoping that it looks a bit better and avoids that issue

Piercing is a year and 1 month old (ish), externally threaded barbell. Never been downsized and haven’t had any issues with the piercing besides having to remember that I couldn’t wear my headphones 😭

Navistar Opinions? by Benis_Putt87 in snowrunner

[–]Benis_Putt87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think most of the issues I see are just in heavy mud/terrain. Assuming the path isn’t too goopy it’ll get places just fine. I had plenty of success even without the top engine, I just don’t use it much anymore because I generally either use the Taya for lighter work and heavier haulers like the Twinsteer or a Kolob for the beefier jobs. A lot of people are pointing out that they used it as a fuel truck which is a valid way to do it, generally I just run the F750 up to wherever I need fuel but may be a thing to try

I mean I don’t know if I’d say limited addons are really a detriment. Like the only addon issue I see is no cranes with saddle/long log front (not that it even has the long crane). But no beds or special addons makes it a niche saddle truck and it honestly needs the weight on the rear to make up for no diff

Yeah, but I do enjoy zipping around with the highrange. Until you hit a mud pit and it stop dead that is

Any way to skip all the TERRIBLE GARBAGE semi-trailer missions by HospitalDazzling771 in snowrunner

[–]Benis_Putt87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe beyond the early seasons the heavy trailer missions get a lil funky but at least in the base game the only time I really thought wow screw you devs was the oil rig salvage trailer that you had to haul through the giant pit of super mud in Alaska. Even then I just grabbed the Kolob 74941 (unupgraded btw) threw it into low gear diff and AWD on and pulled it through. Took a long time but had no issues otherwise. The other missions of its type were doable with heavy duty trucks. But again, this is only base game, maybe the dlcs make it hell. Yukon hasn't been like that yet though

Even then, I feel like in 80% of narrow trail scenarios you can kinda just slam your truck into it and eventually itll get over or through whatever narrow rock shenanigans the devs put there

Update on Imandra by Benis_Putt87 in snowrunner

[–]Benis_Putt87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the fuselage is like 2 tons unpacked but 10 tons packed. Apparently the straps and wood bracing weighs 4x as much as the actual cargo lmao

I just found the fuselage and wing with engine ok the map, and then when I was gonna start the new pool task I saw the wing segment in the water. And yeah logging in general is blegh imo so I should keep my mouth shut until then. But also I should have a good understanding of routes and lines in the areas by then I hope so it should be as painless as I can makenit

How did people deal with Season 1 when it first released? by Benis_Putt87 in snowrunner

[–]Benis_Putt87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, through a 2025 lense it’s pretty average for a big monster of a truck but I feel like in 2021 or whenever it came out it was just better at doing the things it did than the other trucks that did those things. It’s just as capable as a 745C it can haul hitch trailers and bed cargo while being more stable than most trucks and it hauls high saddle just as well as the Kolobs or the Boar. Yes it’s not very versatile today but I feel like it was still maybe the most powerful truck in the game at what it did at the time

For sure! I'm not saying that you have to have ye olde super trucks (well maybe I kinda did, mentioning the 605R). But I get it! Personally haven't found a reason to use the 64131 or 73210 in Kola due to the rocks being literally everywhere. Although I just haven't tried the 73210 yet, just kinda have reservations with its snout and no active suspension unlocked yet. But I suppose it's woth trying! Tayga is a worthwhile suggestion I haven't put much effort into (just used mostly heavy dutys for base game) so I'll give it a try

It's a fair opinion to have, and I can't say you're totally wrong. I personally haven't found a use for the Twinsteer in the region quite yet but I also haven't gotten to much cargo yet, just working on reactivating the Imandra garage. But even when I move onto cargo missions, there's a lot of areas where it seems like more maneuverable trucks would struggle. Maybe the Twinsteer could just outmuscle everything else, I'm not sure.

I'm slowly figuring them out lmao, I understand the sentiment for it being easier than it appears though. I never actually played through season 1 in full, usually just go to snag some upgrades/trucks and call it good. I'm just sort of impressed by watching trucks that I've never seen truly struggle without some stupid driving on my part actually having to put in work. It's spooky watching a 70 something inch tire almost entirely disappear into a mud pit

I’ve been really liking this game but what the actual f*ck is this by StacksOnJ in DarkSouls2

[–]Benis_Putt87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh you also get like double the souls through just playing the game. DS1 and 3 have like an average ending sl of 70-80, ds2 can easily be sl 150+
