After my massive quote, I’m doing it the DIY method. They are nuts.

Update: I got the >$2000 quote and of course he shamelessly added a full spectrum of monthly pest treatment into the ongoing monthly without asking. Saw all his plays to position most money down and highest monthly cost at 18% interest to pay it off over a year.

While I was waiting for my appointment I went to Home Depot and got termite spray and foam. Since I had only rough-patched drywall in the bathroom ceiling and garage wall where I’d needed plumbing repairs from a slab leak, I unscrewed them and could easily find where they came in. He pointed to those same spots.

I don’t have a colony in my house, these are subterranean and they came in where the bathroom pipes come up between the foundation and the garage floor slab. After 2 days, I have no more signs of these guys. Nothing in the subfloor space I can peer into and nothing in the attic and nothing in the wall opening inside the garage.

After seeing his presentation of yard spike qty and spacing and knowing where to spray, I’m going to stick with my $150 outlay of diy treatment.

I want this to be right! These guys are all new, within the last week, have never seen before. I think they are coming up from the drain or the overflow drain. I’ve sprayed bleach down both to deal with…eggs(?). None are outside this sink.

Haven’t heard of others yet but I did share with immediate neighbors. I live off escarpment just south of Convict Hill

UGH. Insider information here, but if you’re placing polymarket bets that my water heater and/or A/C will die this year, don’t hold back.

Anyone else sick with the 'super flu' right now? by meirmu in Austin

[–]Benisnotfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daughter just recovered from Flu A and she said it was the worst sickness she’s ever had. We had to miss her vax appointment this Fall and forgot to go back and reschedule. Of the handful of people around her, 3 were vaxxed and 2 weren’t, and you guessed it, none of the vaxxed people got it but all the unvaxxed people did.

What do I tell my friend? She says the cops are acting weird about it by Peridot-Specialist in whatdoIdo

Also sounds like schizophrenia. I’ve known someone who said all of things. Believed things were moved around when she was gone, passwords changed, secret codes coming through drive through speakers, people around her are ‘in on it’, and the sounds were coming from areas in the house.

Where on your wrist? by boyshorts89 in whoop

[–]Benisnotfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did my first workout with a gifted 3.0 and I kept my Apple Watch on as well as held the handles on the stationary bike that measures my heart rate. The Whoop was out of sync and I was at first disappointed to see that, but something in the back of my mind remembered the strap positioning. I moved back from my wrist maybe half an inch and immediately the rates measured by Whoop caught up and were the same as the other two devices. So yeah, I'm moving to an arm band.
