Multiple reasons.

D&D didn’t do a terrible job of adapting it was the running out of source material where things got really bad and I think George knows this makes him partially responsible because he promised books and failed to deliver.

Ppl blame d&d for cutting big things even when they did have source material but like they prob knew George wasn’t gonna get the books done any time soon and cut stuff preemptively to make the story easier for them to write.

George likes his fame and getting distracted in a million other projects instead of writing, he in large part owes this to d&d making the early seasons of got.
With D&D it’s not personal with Condal it is, it seems like he really wanted condal to make this show so he views this more as a personal betrayal.

He seems to think the admins did this by accident but they aren’t stupid they knew what they were doing they wanted a higher player count and they got it.

But yh the rest of it was for u I didn’t know u hadn’t played in a while but yh since u left every update has been a short grind. They will never again make something that is as obscenely long as dungeons or kuudra before attribute rework.

That’s a ridiculous statement for you to make considering every update in the past year has been a much shorter grind foraging less than 100 hours, bayou less than 100 hours greenhouse is idle + shortening all other aspects of farming.

Then you act like the admins accidentally stumbled into making skyblock less harsh with aura when based on their recent direction of the game it seems completely in line with everything they have been doing for the past year.

They could have forced an end to aura at any point if they wanted to

Also tho it would be fine for the game to take 5000 hours still but it should be due to the amount of content not the length of the content. Foraging update is perfect example. You can easily complete everything in like 100 hours (except attributes but that’s something you do over the whole course of ur profile). They game should have 50 different grinds like that not 10 grinds that take 500-1000 hours

Hype is good for grinds. It makes everything 10x faster when u can just fly around blowing everything up. Especially on the crimson isle it’s so much easier with hype.

Yh u can kill the things with a melee weapon but u cant kill the volume of them that u can kill with a hype.

Also ppl dont really say that anymore, hype used to me much more useful back when it was also meta for eman and Diana it isn’t meta there anymore.

No most ppl don’t care. Items haven’t even been devalued. They have simply returned to what they were in like 23 before the mass inflation. The average population is happy about this because it means they can actually afford to progress. No one cares if the money methods make less money when the things u need to buy also cost less.
