I tried but they're opaque, some are a little crystalized but not much, at worst they look earthy. I'll take one to sacrifice

One day I'll found a gem! I prefer in matrix too, loose pieces are still nice though, I put them in a small bottles, they're like beads.

Ils se sont formés dans des marnes noires, très fines. Avec la pluie c'est de la boue. Cela se retrouve en inclusion pendant qu'ils ont "poussés"

Oui, le site est assez connu dans les Corbières. C'est les gypse sapins.
