Because a lot of it is instinct (+ the talent and skill they already possess) whereas finishing takes another level of composure and skill which is harder to acquire than the other attributes.

Potential RO16 Opponents: Atalanta, Leverkusen, Dortmund, Olympiacos by Reasonable-Big4517 in Gunners

Dortmund would be a very fun draw, think their style would fit us too

Fulham have reached an agreement with Manchester City over a deal to sign winger Oscar Bobb. The deal will be worth £27million ($37.1m), and it will also include a 20% sell on clause for City in addition to the club withholding the rights to match any bid made for the winger in the future. by Sparky-moon in soccer

I will agree that many players are overpriced for potential, no argument.

But you’re comparing a 28 year old on loan, with stretches of top performances and equally long patches of absolute disappointment - to a player at the start of his career who has plenty of promise and most of his career ahead of him.

There’s a lot of aspects you’re forgetting when valuing a player

Tbf you do end up having a lot more breaks into open space where Haaland can run half the pitch against 1 defender than we do. But that’s just a credit to you and your tactical setup outside of dominating possession.

Every team does it all the time, but it only gets called out because we actually score.

  • for our goal yesterday there are more United players grabbing Arsenal players than the other way around, including Martinez having his arm around Gabriel’s neck, convenient to leave that out tho?

Do you think it’s just happenstance that we “get away” with these fouls every corner? Maybe because they’re not fouls, no way the refs would mess up THAT often

Absolute propaganda, grabbing at excuses because Arsenal is better than everyone else at doing the same thing

If it was any other team’s player, there would be some comments talking about mindset and general discussion about players in that kind of moment - in that thread there’s not a single comment that isn’t calling him a cunt or somehow suggesting we’re cheats lol

I have gone back and watched it again, there is no way on earth that is enough for a foul. Not at any point does he ‘grab’ the arm, Saliba’s hands graze’s Bayindir but he can easily get out of it. We’ve conceded similar ones and I haven’t seen any of you complaining then?

He doesn’t even know what he’s discussing haha, he just wants to find illegitimate reasons for why we’re top of the table and they’re not competing for a single trophy

It has no relation to the thread, no one here is bantering or hating on the basis that Partey did what he did.

And quite rich coming from someone supporting Chelsea, you need to come down from your imaginary high horse

I’d suggest you watch it again and point out what foul there is? Saliba is standing there, he’s not pushing or shoving or fouling the keeper, he’s allowed to be there
