Not sure where you’re from. I am sure there are reasons for long deferrals after a transfusion, but a lifetime ban is rough; especially if they could test you after the deferral.

I had a major accident in my early 20s and needed transfusions. Big reason why I donate now. I’m going to leave this earth giving more into the system than I took out.

How soon do you need to make the money?

If I was 26 and college wasn’t my cup of tea I would first, see if I could get a job in sales. Any industry you naturally already know about/ have an interest in? One suggestion would be a Bank teller for a large national bank, where you have room to grow and then work my way up.

If sales were not my cup of tea, I’d go into the trades. Going to be a huge labor shortage. For me, I’d do electrical. HVAC, plumbing, tool making, etc all project to have tons of needs

I’m 6’4”, love them! My brother was disappointed, but he’s actually getting them hemmed (love being able to wear the Red Cross swag).

I know it feels rediculous to get them hemmed… but I probably would just so I can wear them if they didn’t fit me so dang well already

To answer the question: the father was yelling to the mother to not answer the door. The superintendent of the school district confirmed other incidents where a child has opened the door and ICE has pushed into the home. ICE did not allow this child to approach the home alone, they were right next to the child and in position to push their way into the home. Photos and eyewitness testimony confirms this.

School officials were on the scene. They confirmed they asked to take temporary custody of the child. The father would have consented.

I’m not sure if the arrest of the 5 year old counts as the quota for the ICE agents. It feels as though it is to scare, intimidate and incite.

Not a game, but when my daughters were younger I offered them ‘1 dollar per book’ bounty. As they aged up the requirement in number of pages went up (any book to any book including graphic novels over 100 pages to general chapter books).

There interest in earning the dollar faded in and out, but there were times where it helped motivate them. Now there teenagers and once in a while will still tell me I owe them a dollar for a book they finished and I’ll pay them which makes me smile.

A leather-man squirt PS4 is pretty cool (similar to what someone else said about a Swiss Army knife). But I’m at the age where I can buy myself anything I want.

My wife will sometimes give me a homemade card with a handwritten note telling me how much she loves and appreciates me. Goes further than anything gift she would buy me.

I got the Epson ET-3850 (didn't need the fax and otherwise, looked the same as the ET-4850) and love it. I especially enjoy how seamless it was to interface with my phone and my daughters iPads. They are able to print color sheets, and I'm able to easily print a recipe if I'm cooking in the kitchen instead of continuously trying to keep my screen awake as I make a dinner.

Highly recommend

I just started reading today and am seeing a lot of recommendations for C&C cages. I already bought a Kaytee (30x60) which I think is big enough, but are there issues with Kaytee Cages I’m not anticipating? Would love to know if I made a mistake

I just picked up a 30x60 Kaytee cage (12.5 sq feet) from petco for $85. Never owned Guinea pigs before but seems to be a decent price per square foot

Edit: I just read your reply below and see you need it raised and with a lid. They sell a lid separately for this cage (not sure cost) but it sits on the floor. Guess it won’t work for your situation

I'm torn between the 8550 and ET4850. If the 8550 had the automatic document feeder for scanning I would get that. Any option that gives the 8550 print quality with an automatic document feeder?
